Microsoft Word 2003 Level Two, Intermediate is designed for users who are keen to extend their understanding and knowledge of the software. Increasing their professional handling of the document managing functions such as Importing, document security, document design, merging and much more.

Prerequisites

Microsoft Word 2003 Level Two, Intermediate assumes participants have attended Microsoft Word 2003 Level One or have a good understanding of the basics (see course outline for Microsoft Word 2003 Level One for topics covered).

 create the documents required for a merge, perform a merge and create mailing labels  perform more complex merge operations  apply appropriate password and other protection on documents  print labels and envelopes  understand the various aspects of effective document design and layout  work with AutoShapes  work with columns  import Excel, Word and Access data into a Word document  create, modify and use Word templates  use the WordArt feature in Word  create and format text boxes  enhance drawings in your document  use sections to correctly format your documents  create headers and footers  hand-draw tables and manipulate them  insert and work with pictures, images and charts
