Aim

To equip people with the knowledge and skills required to be able to implement change effectively. Investigating the purpose for the Change, to the communication and buy-in and the implementation. To give the participants a feeling of managing Change within their responsibility.

Target Audience

For managers and supervisors who have to implement change but may have had little to do with change decisions.

Prerequisites

This course assumes no prior training within this subject.

Course Content

 Types of change  Understanding the need for change  Force field analysis to a change situation  Influencing dimensions – power, information, winners, losers  Unblocking resistance to change  Measurements for success in change  Maintaining success  Looking for change

Course Objectives

At the completion of this course participants will be able to:

 Analyse a current or recent change  Apply a force field analysis to a change  Identify the current state against the six key implementation activities  Examine each activity against power, information, winners and losers  Create an action plan for unblocking resistance  Draw upon successes and learn from failures  Identify the key elements in sustaining change  Create challenges to sustain positive spirit of change  Produce personal action plans
