Target Audience

Microsoft Word 2007 Level Two, Intermediate is designed for users who are keen to extend their understanding and knowledge of the software. Increasing their professional handling of the document managing functions such as Importing, document security, document design, merging and much more.

Prerequisites

Microsoft Word 2007 Level Two, Intermediate assumes participants have attended Microsoft Word 2007 Level One or have a good understanding of the basics (see course outline for Microsoft Word 2007 Level One for topics covered).

Course Objectives

At the completion of Microsoft Word 2007 Level Two, Intermediate you should be able to:

• create the documents required for a merge, perform a merge and create mailing labels • perform more complex merge operations • apply appropriate password and other protection on documents • print labels and envelopes • work with AutoShapes • create and format text boxes • create headers and footers • create tables of figures and text • hand-draw tables and manipulate them • create and work with tables • insert and work with pictures, images and charts • create and use tabs stops and leaders
