Microsoft Outlook 2003 is designed for users who are keen to extend their understanding and knowledge of the software.
Microsoft Outlook 2003 assumes little or no knowledge of the software. However, it would be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment.
The course focuses on practical work within the product giving learners ample opportunity to use their PC skills through a series of graded exercises.

By then end of the workshop participants will be able to:
• start Outlook 2003 and navigate around the various features • create and send e-mail messages • receive e-mails into your Inbox • format email messages and use special features to control how emails work • organise and locate your email messages • take control of unsolicited and unwanted emails sent to you • work with the calendar feature in Outlook 2003 • schedule appointments and events in your calendar • schedule meeting using Microsoft Outlook • add, edit and delete contacts and contact details • a number of tools and features in Outlook better manage the contacts in your contact listing • create a to do list using the Tasks feature of Outlook • create and work with task requests • better understand spamming, viruses, and the like and the benefits of email. • work with and manipulate text in email messages • work with the Outlook Journal facility • access and use the help system and work safely with your computer
